Parish Council Notice Board

The East Clandon Parish Council

The Parish Council has four main roles:

  • To carry out the "housekeeping" of the parish, especially the areas owned by the parish, and to maintain and improve these important areas of our land.
  • To undertake projects to improve the environment and quality of life of the people living here.
  • To represent the views of the parish to Guildford Borough Council and Surrey County Council especially in relation to planning matters which are particularly important in this conservation area with our surrounding areas of outstanding natural beauty.
  • To protect the rural nature of the parish, its heritage and attractive setting here in the Surrey Hills.

The Parish Council is keen to represent the views of all people who live in the parish and encourages residents to communicate with Parish Councillors on any aspect of life in the parish.
